Welcome to Real Fitness, my blog. Quick intro – I’m Stacey, a freelance health and fitness writer. I’m also a NASM-certified personal trainer and nutrition coach, but honestly, I don’t look like a personal trainer. As in, I’m a middle-aged woman who’s had four kids, and there are parts of me that look like it. That’s what Real Fitness is about – real people keeping their bodies healthy amidst the chaos so that they (you) can live the real life that they want.

Real Fitness is also about the fact that while I love nutrition and eating healthy, I also love brownies and cookies. The struggle to say no to junk food is real. It’s real for me, so it must be real for lots of other people cause I’m no special unicorn. But friends, I love exercise. Love it. It makes me feel alive (and also sore).

Real Fitness is about having fun, getting and staying fit, and exploring different ways to challenge yourself (aka get over the boredom) so that you can do things you didn’t think you could.

Real fitness will log my own fitness journey (cause life is an ongoing journey, my friends), along with fitness tips, and my latest fitness product reviews, roundups, and shopping guides that I write for my awesome clients.

I hope you come back, and I hope you feel inspired to keep your fitness real.
